August BioPro wastewater treatment technology satisfies the highest ecological requirements. We offer a logical and economical solution by with lower installation costs and maintenance expenses. The biologically treated water can be reused because of the high quality of the effluent.
All wastewater treatment processes are being performed in one single radial polypropylene container. First, the wastewater flows into a non-aerated zone, where mechanical pretreatment takes place (2). The non-aerated zone is divided by several internal dividing walls, where internal circulation is established. At this point, using gravity, the wastewater flows into the anaerobic fermentation zone (3), mixes with activated sludge and flows into the denitrification zone (4), where the denitrification process begins. From the denitrification zone wastewater overflows into the aeration zone (5).

The compressed air through single-bubble aeration elements – diffusers (6) – is incorporated into the aeration zone and into airlifts for circulation and re-circulation of the activated mixture. The air supply is the only mechanical element in the system – the air blower (9). Wastewater oxidation and nitrification processes in the aeration zone. Following on, the mixture of activated sludge flows into the bottom of the sedimentation section (7), where the activated sludge is recycled by airlift into the denitrification (non-aeration) or nitrification (aeration) zone of plant.

Ireland is an island nation, and we must protect the environment as much as possible. Sewage cannot be disposed of through traditional septic tank installations anymore. Sewage Treatment.
Wastewater.
Biological wastewater sewage plants use patented technology to clean the effluent so there is no need for a septic tank or alternative means of disposal. Sewage Treatment.
Wastewater.
Septic tank replacement is paramount to helping Ireland help clean up the environment.
Sewage Treatment.
Ireland are now looking at charges to eliminate toxic septic tank installations where the effluent is not being disposed of in a manner friendly to the environment. Sewage Treatment.
Wastewater.
Septic tank installations are antiquated and are slowly harming the environment. Newer means of wastewater removal such as biological sewage treatment are now the standard for quality.
